Not sure what to say?

Frank was truly a pleasure to work with and to know. He had an easy smile, an infectious laugh and never a bad work to say about anyone. A true gentleman and a very gentle man. May be rest in peace.

We loved and will miss Frank very much!!! He was a TRUE STORYTELLER in the most wonderful way - honest, humorous, and humble!!! Love and Prayers to his dedicated and loving family from Gwendolyn Jones and Carol Satz and his Many Friends in the Garden State Storytellers' League

I worked with Frank several years in the promotion department back in the late 60's and 70's. Frank was a excellent manager

Tyger Family: I knew Frank from working in the Composing Room at the Trenton Times. Many times I would mechanically put his column in the allotted space and Frank was always there to check. Along with being an expert newspaper person, Frank was a gentle man, always a smile, and a funny clean joke to share. We often shared some of my teaching experiences of Russian history at both Steinert High School and Trenton State College because he hosted a Russian student group that visited the Trenton...

A true gentle giant, what a honor it was to have work in the same building as him. God Bless ....

When it came time for my own 15 minutes of fame, I remember going over to the Times of Trenton building to deliver a singing telegram to Mr. Arnie Ropeik and being guided back to his office by the kind gentleman named Frank Tyger whose columns and cartoons I had been enjoying for quite some time. I remember Frank's gracious and energetic air, his humbleness, the twinkle in his eyes and his sweet smile. Things like that have a way of sticking with you. With me.

Frank's columns...

I had the pleasure of meeting Frank just after I was appointed the CEO for United Way in Trenton. Frank greeted me like I had been a friend of his for years. He was truly a caring and committed man for the people and children of Trenton. Working with him over the years on the Campership Fund was a treat. Frank always wanted to make sure that subcribers to The Times knew what good work would be done for children with the gifts they gave to the Fund.

Thank you Frank for being one of...

Without a doubt, Frank was one of the kindest, most dedicated people I have ever had the pleasure to work with. He was a wonderful ambassador for The Trenton Times and took great pleasure in meeting all of the key people in the community who would drop in to the office to seek publicity for a worthy cause. He was pleasant and accommodating to each and every one.
He truly enjoyed his stint as editor of the in-house newsletter, The Times Topics. Employees always knew that if they met...

To the Tyger family, Frank was a great joy to work with, and I have many fond memories of the projects we did together. I was a rookie and he was a veteran at the time, but he never made me feel that way. He was a true profesional and a wonderful person. My thoughts and prayers are with you at this time.
