Frank Vieira

Frank Vieira, 88, of Goldsmith Avenue, died May 29, 2010 at RI Hospital. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Manuel and Maria (Rebello) Vieira. He was a WWII veteran serving in the US Army. He worked as a plant manager for Cal-Ric Paper Box Company for 27 years. He worked as a East Providence Special Police Officer for 60 years. He is survived by his children Mike Vieira, Margaret Zanghi, Robert Richards, Donna Pillings, Brenda Rebello, Cathy Bateson, Craig DiSano, and Kimberly Delano. He is survived by his brother Anthony Vieira and his sister Angie Mello, 23 grandchildren and several great grandchildren. He was the father of the late Frank Vieira. The funeral will be held on Saturday at 9:30am from the Rebello Funeral Home, 901 Broadway, East Providence, RI. Committal Services with Military Honors will follow at 10:30am in RI Veteran's Memorial Cemetery in Exeter. Call hours Saturday 8:30-9:30am.
