Dear Yazum Family,
I can remember hanging around with Steve in Elementary school when he would tell me these long, historical stories about WWI aces like Eddie Rickenbacher. I shared his love of aircraft and it's what carried me into the Air Force. Though he was slight of build, noone else I knew had a heart as big as Steve's. Now matter what cards life dealt him, he always seemed determined to persevere through it all. This "bravery" in the face of adversity was...

Dear Yazum Family,

I just found out about Stephen's death through another classmate, Eric, who also shares my saddness in the loss of Stephen. I was so shocked!

I went to school with Stephen at Schalmont. We were in the same grade. I remember Steve always talking about airplane, jets, B52 Bombers! He would get so excited about telling the class about his love for airplane and jets. I loved to listen to him talk in class about them with such exhilaration.

Dear Yazum family,
I was recently doing a web search to try to catch up with all my friends from my teenage years. I came upon the Stephen's tragic story. I was shocked, angry, and sad all in one minute. I am sorry for your loss and pain. The Stephen I knew was an interesting person that I always appreciated. My perspective of Stephen is not uncommon for those that knew him during those years.
I'll never forget him showing me how to do some great shots on the pool table, playing...
