Not sure what to say?

Frank was always jovial and got things done.

The nicest teacher I ever had.. Thanks, Mr. Zima for teaching me how to rebuild engines in Power Mechanics class at Spruce Creek. I rebuilt many Porsche engines, a Lamborghini engine, and a Lotus engine since then. You helped it all make sense, and I'll pass it on to the next generation. R.I.P., Mr. Zima

My mother Louise Zima, was married to Frank from 1977 till she died in 2005. He was a jovial, creative, and kind husband and stepdad. I'll always have fond memories of him. Thanks Frank!

R.I.P. Mr Zima, you were one of a kind, respected and loved by all. Thank you for being part of our lives.

I was a student of Mr. Zima's at Spruce Creek High School in 1979 and 1980. We learned about engines, rockets, and working on cars. I remember a few of his favorite things including shooting a musket rifle every New Years Eve and he loved Jim Beam and Corn nuts. He would leave charged capacitors on his desk so if you picked them up without asking, it would give you a zap. I learned many things from Mr. Zima that I still use today including repair of my lawn equipment and cars. Rest in Peace...

I had Mr. Z for all 3 years at Spruce Creek (79-81). He was the best teacher, in every way, I ever had. I remember his stories, wisdom and humor to this day! You will be missed Z!

I took Frank's class as well at Spruce Creek High School on 1977. He was a great teacher, had a good sense of humor. I'm glad to see he lived a long life. Salute and RIP Frank Zima, thank you for your service to our country and it's children!

I was a student of Mr. Zima at Spruce Creek High School, the first two years the school was open. He was a good instructor and made learning fun. He had us all build rockets that we shot off in the parking lot. Rest in Peace sir. Class of 1977.
