To Skeeter's Family:
My sincere condolences in sharing your loss. Skeeter's congenial personality is being missed very much at Slovak world. I learned a lot about my mother's Slovak culture from his posts about food, etc. May God comfort you.

To all of Skeeters Family,
We morn with you, for we have lost of an online friend. Slovak World will not be the same without him. I always looked forward to his posts. I hope you will find comfort in knowing that many people appreciated him. I shall plant kolrabi in his memory and when I reap the harvest I will think of him fondly.

You will always live in our hearts and prayers.

Skeeter, your slant on all things Cleveland will missed @ Slovak World.

Love, Cousin Marcheta in Florida

Frank was our neighbor and a great one at that. He truly looked out for all of us, even as the children became adults. My family was truly blessed to have Frank next door. I am sure he will continue to look out for us all!

I had the pleasure of knowing Frank for many years. His sudden passing is very surprizing of which to learn. He was a very academically intelligent person with an insightful sense of humor. For some reason, one of the memories that is in my mind is many years ago, a friend of mine and I were watching a John Wayne movie with Frank and his parents, and after the movie ended, Frank's mother said something like, "Back to reality." I wish Frank well.

"May Thy Servant Franklin Be Granted Rest, in a Place of Green Pasture, a Place of Repose and a Place of Brightness, where all sickness, sorrow and sighing have fled away."

Until we meet in the afterlife, my friend...

Skeeter,
You will truly be missed, with all your recipes, stories about food, your garden, growing up and Slavic Village in Cleveland. I only know you through the Yahoo! group Slovak World, but I felt like I knew you in person. Thank you for sharing your life with us.
Laskavy Prosim.
