Franklin Armentrout Dailey

Franklin Armentrout Dailey, 78, of Hagerstown, Maryland, died Thursday, January 1, 2009, at Washington County Hospital, Hagerstown, Maryland.

Born August 30, 1930, in Morgantown, West Virginia, he was the son of the late Earl L. and Ethel Armentrout Dailey. He was a grandson of the late John F. and Margaret Tanner Armentrout.

He spent his early life in Morgantown. Later he was a resident of Rosewood and Great Oaks Centers in Maryland.

He enjoyed collecting keys and key chains.

He is survived by one sister, Mildred Dailey Miller and her husband, Floyd, of Quincy, Pennsylvania.

A graveside service will be held 1 p.m. Tuesday, January 6, 2009, at Riverview Cemetery, Waynesboro, Virginia, by the Reverend Merle Fisher.

Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of your choice.
