Click here to view the video http://videos.lifetributes.com/712601 Franklin Delano "Wimp" Kisner, age 82, of Leachville, died Thursday June 23, 2016 at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro. Born at Leachville he was the son of the late Noah and Virgil Allen Kisner and was a 1952 graduate of Leachville High School. A U. S. Army veteran of the Korean War, Frank later retired from Bethlehem Steel in Burns Harbor, Indiana. He lived many years in Lake Station, Indiana where he served on the Volunteer Fire Department before returning to Leachville upon his retirement in 1996. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Maxine Kisner in 2013, 1 son, Michael Kisner and 1 brother. He is survived by; 2 sons; Jackie Kisner of Leachville Dewayne Kisner of Lake Station, Indiana 1 daughter, Lori Hart of Portage, Indiana 3 brothers; John Kisner of Black Oak Eric Kisner of Leachville Charles Kisner of Little Rock 4 sisters; Penny Johnson of Jonesboro Charlotte Marlow of Indianapolis, Indiana Virginia Austin of Little Rock Imogene Taylor of Atlanta, Georgia He also leaves 5 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren Funeral service will be 11am Tuesday June 28, 2016 at the Howard Funeral Service Chapel in Leachville with Rev. Mark Wheeler officiating. Burial will follow in the Leachville Cemetery. The family will receive visitors Monday evening from 6-8 at the funeral home. Pallbearers will include Tony Squires, Jeff Hughes, Drew Valdez, Anthony McCarty, Chuck Kisner, and Chuck Kisner, Jr. Guest register @www.HowardFuneralService.com

Sorry for your loss. I am unable to attend because of health reasons but you are all in my thoughts for the loss you are going through. Wimp was and always will be a great man and I am proud to call him Uncle.

My condolences and deepest sympathies to the Kisner family in this trying time. My thoughts & prayers are with you!
Frank always will have a place in my heart of memories of a childhood spent growing up with his wonderful children some of the best friends I ever had or will have!
Time has come for him to unite with his beautiful wife Maxine and son Mike, Jo Jo too!
