Not sure what to say?

I had the good fortune to play against and for Frank Petruno during my eleven years of Cleveland Class A baseball from 1959 through 1969. He was one of best hitters I saw during that time and a great competitor and always seemed to be on winning teams. He was a master at bringing the best class A players with him wherever he played. As a manager, he was outstanding in his ability to find and recruit talented players and knew how to use them as well. I was fortunate to join his " team" in 1967...

A huge influence on my baseball life from high school, college and PD AAA . Sidney Dworkin, founder and president of Revco was a partner and backer of mine in some business ventures and we would talk often of Frank Petruno and his athletic and business success. Thank you Frank. RIP

To Frank's family: Frank was a great guy who was nice to everyone. When he found out I too was a Byzantine he'd always say hi and ask how I was doing in Slovak and call me krayan. In behalf of all his Revco TILAR friends his support of the golf event was most appreciated. He will be missed!! Fran Makuh

We are so sorry for your loss.

I offer my deepest condolences for the loss of your loved one. I hope 1Thessalonians 4;14 offers your comfort and hope.

Our sincerest condolences to Janet and the family. Frank lived a long and full life and made many friends along the way. He was special and will be missed. When Frank and I worked together at Revco he welcomed me because I came from old neighborhood. He and I would reminisce about old friends, the canteen at St. Benedict's and all the good old days. Frank was kind and always had a smile for everyone. May he rest in peace. Dale & Anne Chorba

Janet, my condolences. Frank was always fun to be with, we shared my good times. I always loved how he counted his Bacardi and coke with swizzle sticks. He truly gave a lot of time and effort to St. Joseph's church. RIP Frank.

I first met Frank when I was growing up in the Woodland/Woodhill projects. He was my mentor in baseball and boxing. He would always push us to be our best selves - respect and integrity. He took me as a ball/bat boy to Wenham practices and to a ton of Indians games - never had to pay a dime. At that time Frank was Director of recreation in the projects. He was a leader of kids making sure we were always focused. I also ended up working at Revco in corporate and he did remember me and...
