Not sure what to say?

Frank was a presence. His intelligence came with an unwavering wit. He was curious, supportive, and honest. My favorite kind of person. I´ll never forget the time he and Pat came to one of my first shows in Los Angeles. I was blown away that they wanted to be there, and sincerely touched when Frank called Zack the next day to ask if he could chat with me. It wasn´t an empty congratulation. It was a call to encourage me, to challenge me to keep going. At the time, it was exactly what I...

I cheated and read your book before we met. In my defense, you sounded pretty intimidating as a future father-in-law-a law professor who had written multiple books and debated complex topics on air. I thought reading your work might give me an edge. Luckily, the moment we met, you welcomed me with warmth and kindness. Frank was a wonderful colleague. We worked together at California State University-Dominguez Hills. He was kind, witty, brilliant and always thoughtful. We launched the Journal of Business and Management and worked well together for over 11 years. I will miss him very much.

I feel so lucky to have known Frank. He led such a multifaceted life. He was intelligent, funny, progressive and generous. Any time I had the privilege of talking with him I left feeling inspired. I remember a conversation in which he talked to me about writing and encouraged me to write about some of my experiences. This conversation always sticks with me and continues to uplift me. Thinking of and sending love to the beautiful Strier family.

Frank was one of my best friends for over 59 years. We started in law school together and kept in touch over the many many years we used to get together regularly for dinner for a number of years and I always relished those opportunities to hear his great wit. I will miss him greatly.

Frank was such a legend! Incredibly kind and brilliant man, and amazing father and husband. He will be remembered fondly and missed forever.
