He was a awesome man

A powerful man of God. Humble and unlike any preacher that I have ever come in contact with, one who wasn't afraid to be associated with nobody's. If only all ministers could learn to be the true meaning of the word servant like Brother Walden.

A mighty one has gone home! A true man of God who I loved dearly and will miss greatly. May the Lord bless and comfort you Sister Carolyn and family.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to the Walden Family. We only knew him through his daughter, Teresa, and she was a wonderful person.

Dear Sister Walden and Family,
It was only yesterday, that I heard that Brother Franklin was promoted to glory. Our hearts and prayers are with you at this time. We are thankful for Brother Walden's life and his influence through evangelism in Canada.
We shall never forget his dedication to the Lord.

So sorry to hear of Bro. Franklin Walden's death. However, I prefer to refer to his promotion. I met him and Carolyn at a tentmeeting across the street from my house in 1963, and learned to play the organ in his tent meeting through his music director at that time, Bro. Adcock, from England. I have many precious memories of his ministry, having traveled and worked with him in the 1960's. Deepest sympathy and prayers are extended to his entire family.

Was sorry to hear about the death of Bro. Walden. My brother-in-law worked with him in the ministry in the 60's.
That was Norman Fortner.
May God bless you all and give you comfort.

My love, my prayers & my heart go out to you all. If there is any comfort to be had it is that we will see Bro. Walden again "just inside the Eastern Gate over there". I thank God for Bro. Walden because without him my Dad wouldn't be in the U.S. and thus I wouldn't be here now. I remember as a child old time camp meeting & sawdust on the floor, the old theater church & "Only Believe". I was just a small child but Proverbs 22:6 says,
Train up a child in the way he should go: and when...
