I met Frans when our studies overlapped for three years at Loyola University. I particularly remember his leadership as president of our social fraternity Upsilon Beta Lambda. Although our paths went different ways after Loyola, I always kept up with his remarkable career. Our short contact had an impact on my life. May God grant his soul peace. Don Jansen

My deepest sympathies to Delphine and the family. Frans and I were close friends for many years. We attended Loyola Law school and served together on the school´s national moot court team. Frans served the community as a practicing attorney, clerk of the Louisiana Supreme Court and deacon at his church. I know Andrea since our children attended Our Lady of the Lake School. Our family shares in common with Deacon Labranche Jesuit High School and Loyola University in New Orleans and Scouting. So many memories of Frans and Pat having legal and philosophical discussions not only at the LSBA meetings but whenever they were together.
