Not sure what to say?

Wow, can't believe it's been awhile. I heard Mr. Acosta had passed away but no details or date. I attended J.C. 1981 to 1983 (When the Greats were there: Steve, Eric, Ceasar, Manny, Pete & lots more were there!)
I greatly felt a father's presence when Mr. Acosta was around. He hardly called me by my name, he nicknamed me "the Bronx girl" though i always followed that w "Brooklyn", then i just stopped trying to correct him. Mr. Acosta Always had our backs. I was in the "Dean's...

To The Acosta Family!!
I got to know your father through the Tucson Job Corps program. It was a wonderful program when I went through it & now my youngest daughter is attending the Fred Acosta Job Corps Program. Your Father was a Wonderful Man!!

In high school, I saw you a few times but never knew you. I knew you must've been a good father by virtue of the fact Ronnie was the way he was. In reading the above message about you, I now know you; yet probably couldn't begin to really. Sure looks like you were loved by all. What an accomplishment in life and passing! Sincerely, Beth Wright

Thanks, I will always have memories of the neighborhood and who lived there. Tucson needs to remember its roots.

Very nice memories for you Ronnie. Love you Jackie

What a nice surprise to see Mr. Acosta again; I have very fond memories of him when I used to stop by and visit with Fred, AnnaMarie, Ronnie, and Randy. Looking back, it is a privilege to have known him and his family.
