I never had the pleasure of meeting Fred, but am the grandmother of his son Christopher's wife Sarah. If his son is anything like him, I know he was a loving knowledgeable man. May God give you peace at his passing.

Freddy made the best hoagies, bar none! I grew up in Clarks Summit where Freddy made hoagies out of a single-wide trailer. Every time a person stepped into his shop, Freddy made them feel like a million bucks! He was kind and generous -- a true American! Rest in Peace, Freddy!

I first met Fred while I was attending Temple University in Philadelphia. He called me "Dick" because I was from Dickson City. Every time I visited my mother, I just had to get a hoagie from Fred and take some back to New England. A true gentleman and a great human being. Rest in Peace my friend.
