Not sure what to say?

Fred, and his hoagies are legendary in Northeastern Pa. People who left the area, often stopped back to see him and enjoy a memory! God rest him.

I never had the pleasure of meeting Fred, but am the grandmother of his son Christopher's wife Sarah. If his son is anything like him, I know he was a loving knowledgeable man. May God give you peace at his passing.

Freddy made the best hoagies, bar none! I grew up in Clarks Summit where Freddy made hoagies out of a single-wide trailer. Every time a person stepped into his shop, Freddy made them feel like a million bucks! He was kind and generous -- a true American! Rest in Peace, Freddy!

BEST HOAGIES I EVERY ATE. GREAT GUY WITH GREAT STORIES REST IN PEACE MY FRIEND

I am sorry for your loss. May the God of comfort be with you during your time of mourning. Isaiah 61:1,2 ; Matthew 5:4

My boys would come home on military leave and had to have a graces hoagie!

Mr Augustine was a kind hearted man who loved his family, friends & customers dearly. May he rest in peace as he moves onto his next destination. I know he will be watching over his family.

I first met Fred while I was attending Temple University in Philadelphia. He called me "Dick" because I was from Dickson City. Every time I visited my mother, I just had to get a hoagie from Fred and take some back to New England. A true gentleman and a great human being. Rest in Peace my friend.

very sorry for your loss. He will always be remembered for the nice guy that he was. Enjoyed many visits to the hoagie shop.
