Fred L. Avery

Freddie, as our family always called him, was an icon at the Lake Shore Drive condos. He was a wonderful doorman but more importantly, he was a beautiful, caring person. He was very funny, too. He knew almost everyone in the building by their names as well as their families and frequent visitors.

There will never be another "Freddie" or anyone that even comes close.

Freddie, we will miss you terribly but we will never forget you.
We are comforted in knowing you...

We feel blessed to have known Fred these past 17 years. As our doorman, he always was cheerful, helpful, and yes, funny. We shared many ideas, secrets, laughs and some gossip with each other, It always was a pleasure to be with him. We will miss his smile, his lovely greetings, his jokes. Thanks Fred!
