I met Fred for the first time when I applied for the job of Controller at Teledyne Engineering Services, where he was President. Working for him was a comfortable and educational experience. He strongly believed that problems should be delegated to be addressed at the lowest competent level and that decision-making should be done in an inclusive manor. Very sorry to hear the news, my condolences to the family.
Fred was a very kind person and a friend to all he knew. Many years ago I was the recipient of his hospitality and kindness. I will never forget how well he treated me ack then. He and the entire Bailey family will always be in my thoughts and prayers.
