Not sure what to say?

To my teammate Fred, from freshman year (1970) at Notre Dame, it has been inspiring to read of your accomplishments in life! Very glad to have known you for those years at ND And grateful to carry such fine memories in my heart ...Tom Ritter, Gettysburg PA

I had a great many adventures and misadventures with Fred back when we worked at the Kearny Mesa branch of Bank of America in the 1980´s. We have since regrouped a few times to review our version of the secret life of bankers. He could be howlingly funny and was always willing to push the envelope to make people laugh. One of the great characters in my life - RIP Brother

I am sorry for your loss. I met Fred many years ago at Bank of America. He was kind and genuine and made many friends. It was always a pleasure to see him.

Fred excelled, professionally but more importantly, with his love for family. Such a wonderful man and family! Bushree family sends our condolences. Val Rick Austin and Brian . Heaven has gained a great angel .

One day, when I first started working with Fred, we went to lunch together. He knew that besides being a Banker, I was involved in philanthropic causes. Instead of having a "banker" conversation, we spent lunch talking about giving back and how important it was....that was Fred, always concerned about his fellow man. He loved his family and holiday never went by that he didn't make homemade sausage. As a Banker, he was exceptional. He will be missed by all that knew him.

To Jan and sons. I am very sorry for your loss. I have known Fred since 1970 (college years). Although we were on opposite sides of the country, we would get together for many reunions over the years. I will miss him, and I hope the times you had together will provide solace at this sad time. May he rest in peace.

So sorry to hear of Fred's passing. We were good friends while working at Bank of America's downtown location. He was one of the really good guys!

Were it not for Fred, I may not have stayed at Notre Dame. Fred is a great friend and I am grateful for having known him. Praying for the repose of his soul and for Jan and all of the children and grandchildren. God bless Fred.
