Fred C. Beard

Fred and I attended Mrs. Edwards 6th grade class at Grant School, Mission Hills, San Diego in 1940. In 1946 while in the Army, Fred and I ended up in Korea in 7th Division, 17th Infantry, Fox Company and in the same platoon. I ended up being his Sergeant. Many of the photos I have were taken by Fred.We lost track of each other over the years. I often thought of him and knew he would be succesful. Fred was one of the "Good Guys".
