Not sure what to say?

Coach Bingham was a nice and decent man. He and Coach Miller teamed up to coach our undefeated State Championship football team in 1959. We held reunions for 10 years leading up to our 50th reunion. Both coaches came to every one of them. Sadly, Coach Bingham passed away after our 51st reunion. He will long be remembered.

Coach Bingham was a kind and gentle man who made us feel good just being around him. He had a great heart for doing the right thing and you could see it. He was kind to me and all of us in our family including my Mother and Father. I will miss him and I am a better person for having known him.

Fred Bingham, Joe Miller and Don smith were more than just friends to me, they were role models who were easy to look up to,their humor was contagious! They were the original three amigos. Fred was a soft spoken man with great integrity who was respected by everyone who was lucky enough to have known him. I have known Fred since 1955 and in that time I've never heard of anyone who didn't like him. My sympathies to his family, I know he will be greatly missed. Fred thank you for being my...

My Dad...Don Smith and Fred Bingham were teachers at SHS and also best friends forever, my parents asked Mr.Bingham to be my guardian (and my brother) if anything happened to my parents. I have great memories of Mr. Bingham and I also was in his crafts class when he announced Kennedy's assasination. He was a kind and caring man and I will never forget him. I was a student at Sunnyslope High School graduating in 1959. Coach Bingham was so well liked and respected. My sympathy goes out to his family. We are never ready to say goodbye. Lenell Hannah Devereux 59

I was in Mr. Bingham's class when the announcement about Kennedy's assassination came over the intercom. I can never forget that day or Mr. Bingham.

Coach Bingham was a good coach, a good teacher and a great human being. My sincerest sympathies to all of the Bingham family. We are all better off for having known him. Sam Flores Sunnyslope '63.

To the Bingham family;

It was an honor to have been able to play football under Coach Bingham at Sunnyslope 1959-62. He taught us how to be gentlemen and tough at the same time. He made us be good examples to each other and gave us strength and unity as a team, win or lose. His lessons have been guideposts to me ever since. May God bless him eternally.
