Fred Blake

May, I had just met Fred a couple of times, but he has received so many wonderful comments here, it's easy to tell he was loved by many. I'm thinking and praying for you and your family daily. Love you, Jamie

May, so sorry for your loss! How I remember all the Bingo nights at the FOP, what fun times those were! He was such a wonderful friend and fellow officer to my dad. Daddy (Orville Wilson) spoke of him often and what a great man he was. You and the family will be in my prayers.

May, I am so sorry to hear of Fred's passing. He was a good cousin to Larry. I have often thought of all of you over the years. Sorry we lost touch.

A great partner to a young detective, a mentor in so many ways, a leader among men, and a righteous and compassionate man. Fred so loved May and their family, and I consider myself to have been a good friend of Fred and May. I have so many good memories of working with Fred at the P.D. and the FOP. I was so glad to be able to see and talk with Fred at the FOP a couple of years ago. That smile and twinkle in his eyes were still there and my heart took a leap when he recognized me and we talked...

Fred had the most heart warming smile. He will surely be missed at the Village.

Rest in Peace my friend. My sympathy to your family...I will always remember our years on the Police Department and later at Keeneland.

Fred Blake was an fine man, a loving husband and father, and an exemplary police officer. The world has lost a wonderful person. Prayers for Mr. Blake's wife and family for peace and strength.
