I did not know Mr. Boshoven, and learnt of his passing away through an email from SAE-AMS where I too serve in a committee. My heartfelt condolences to his family. It's only due to selfless work by professionals like him that engineering and technology continue to grow in this world. Mr. Boshoven will be missed.

I am in tears of learning of his passing. Fred was a true giant in the aircraft missiles and space industry and the definition of a gentleman! I was his friend of 35 years in the SAE-AMS engineering groups and have alerted them of his passing. I am an old man now, one leg, in a wheel chair, in South Dakota, but If I was of better health, I'd be at his funeral Wednesday to honor his memory. Craig Willan
