Fred G. Buenger

I have known Fred since he was a teenager, and, long ago, Linda baby-sat Steve and Jane. We always enjoyed Fred and the Buengers all the way back to bustling oma and kindly opa. Fred’s unique laugh came easily. Yet, he was industrious and enterprising, venturing out both in work and in life. Through it all, his mainstay was his family and the Lord Jesus. May the same Good Shepherd, who has known Fred and brought him to heaven’s green pastures, also accompany his family and encourage them in...

I met Fred years ago when we were members of the Rotary Club (he in Oxnard, for me Downtown Ventura). We became more acquainted when Fred had Coast Chandlery and I lived in Channel Islands Harbor. He had a great reminiscent history of Oxnard and was always up to a fun conversation. I lost track of Fred when he moved to Idaho and wondered how he was faring in the chilly north.....one day a couple of years ago....I bumped into Fred at Ralphs grocery store in Ventura....what a great...

Deepest condolences to his entire family. I so respected Fred for ALL that was mentioned above and more. Frances and are are heart broken for y’all and had discussed driving to Idaho should that be where is memorial would be. Unfortunately, my brother’s memorial is on May 7th in Orange County. Our thoughts will be with you!
