Not sure what to say?

You will be missed great Uncle Doug! I remember you coming in to the dental office that I was working in several years ago in Del Paso Heights...you looked so much like my grandfather, Jack (Alfred Caesar); you made my day..Love You

Very sorry to hear of Fred's passing. Our family moved in next door to Fred and Bessie in 1975 and they were unfailingly nice to us loud, rambunctious hippie kids. Bessie was my preschool teacher, and we grew up watching the athletic talents of Carrie, Alton, Clay, Cynthia and the whole family. Fred always watched out for our mother Rosemary until her passing in 2011. Our deepest condolences to the entire Caesar family on your loss.

Fred & Bessie together again at last.
Fred you will be dearly missed, but you are in such a wonderful place and with your beautiful soul mate.
I will truly miss you as I have Bessie all these yrs.
God broke they mold when he made the two of you. You treated people with care and respect to the fullest extent, and for that I thank you.
My heart goes out to the ones left behind. But I know you are happy again.
All my prayers
Suzzette

Just learned of Doug's passing today 3/28/13. I was very sorry
to hear of his passing. I believe that he is one of the last original immigrants to Foresthill from Arkadelphia Ark. Doug was a close friend of mine and a scholar and historian. He gave me a lot of constructive advice as II built the Starlite Cafe in Foresthill. One could not think of Foresthill without associating it with Doug. Doug was Mr. timberland Drive of Foresthill. He will be missed.

ALTON, CAREY, & PHYLLIS, MY HEART GOES OUT TO YOU ALL, INCLUDING THE GRAND CHILDREN. YOUR MOM AND DAD WERE SOME OF THE KINDEST FOLKS I HAVE EVER KNOWN. I WILL RMEMBER THEM WITH KIND THOUGHTS AND MEMERIES. PEACE BE WITH YOU ALL. TERI GORMLEY

Rest in peace Uncle Doug.

I am so sorry to read about Fred's passing. I knew Fred and Bessie through their children. I remember the times that they would be at their children's school activities at Placer High School Fred was a great role model for those who knew and loved him.

FRED SET THE STANDARD FOR EXCELLENCE FOR SIERRA COLLEGE PLANT OPERATIONS. FRED WAS A HARD ACT TO FOLLOW, BUT YOU LEARNED FROM THE MAN, HE WAS OLD SCHOOL. HE PASSED THE TRICKS OF THE TRADE TO ME WHEN HE RETIRED WHEN I ASSUMED HIS RESPONSIBILITIES AS LEAD CUSTODIAN. MY FONDEST MEMORY OF FRED WAS WHEN HE WOULD CALL ME ON THE WALKIE TALKIE "POLO COME IN" WHEN HE NEEDED ME OR TO TEASE ME.FRED DEFINITELY A STANDUP GUY WHO WILL BE MISSED. REST IN PEACE. SINCERELY POLO ADAMS
