Fred Carman

On behalf of our family, I extend sincere condolences on the passing of Fred. He and my (late) father, Ralph, were great friends for decades. In fact it was Fred and his late wife Gladys who introduced by parents way back when. He was a bright and kind man. Paul Iacono

Fred kept our family together. He was my mom's first cousin....whatever that makes me. He and I lived in different states. He would call me every few months to ask about the family. He called my other cousins too.
He never talked about himself; just asked about my family. He was smart, positive, fun and wonderful to talk to.
I guess I was the last or almost last person to talk to him in the hospital. I thank my lucky stars that I had planned to be in Chicago at that time. I...
