Fred Cassity

My name is Mark Jardine and I am one of the children of Stu and Win Jardine. Burt spoke at my dad´s funeral some time back. My dad worked with Equitable Life Insurance, they were both in the Navy, they both ran marathons and they were great friends. I was in Burt´s ward and he was always very kind and engaging with me. Our family loves and admired Burt greatly. Our condolences go out to your family. We love Burt dearly and will always be in our hearts.

I got to know Burt at the VA this year where we help with church services. I love Burt! I loved walking with him to services and FHE, where we'd talk about our day. And as he progressed, I enjoyed pushing his wheelchair whenever I was the lucky one to get him first. He was a true gentleman and would kiss my hand and thank me for helping him. We were playing Bingo together last month and I put his hand on our bingo card to show him we almost had a black out. I said, "We're really good Burt!"...
