Fred Collins passed away at the age of 90 in Artesia, New Mexico. The obituary was featured in Clovis News Journal on June 24, 2011.
Alice and family, I was so very sorry to hear of Fred's passing. He was one of the big reasons I loved to come to the Shirley Reunion. I loved visiting with him every year. I'm sorry I didn't get to see all of you at reunion. My prayers are with you all. love you, Mona and Marvin

Dear Alice and family-
I've just read of Fred's passing and know this is an incredibly emotional time for you all. Fred lived a long, interesting, fullfilling and "cheerful" life. I'm sure he would want you to "celebrate" his life and not mourn execssively his leaving. You are all in my thoughts and prayers.
