Fred was always kind when I had silly questions on textiles and he would listen to sustainability points of views I would have. Conversations with him will be missed.

My sincerest condolences and prayers for Dr. Cook´s family. He not only my thesis advisor but continued to give me valuable advice throughout my career. He was not only my advisor but a true friend.He will truly be missed.
