Just a fan.

So Sad to hear of Freds passing. Was just thinking of him the other day. Although i haven't seen him in quite a few years our Families were always close. Our summer vacations were spent with him and his Family in Monongahela. He was such a positive in my life growing up. Trying to locate his family the past several years had been hard since my sister, Pat, passed away. Our Grandfathers came to the US together. Fred was a good person and a very kind person. He surely will be missed. RIP...

We are saddened for the loss of your dearly beloved Husband and Father. May the God of tender mercies give you all continued strength and comfort. We know that you all are so very proud of Mr. Cox achievements and his great sports legacy, touching the lives of many!

In all the years I knew Fred he always had a smile on his face. we had a lot of great flights together and I cherish those flights together. He was always supportive and i will not forget him.

So sorry to hear of his passing. Many thanks for all the memories and the Nerf football.

I am so sorry to read of this. Fred Cox was one of my Vikings hero's as a kid. I had all the cards and jerseys and you name it, I wore it. I didn't know that he was involved with the Nerf thing. That's really amazing!
Condolences to his friends, family and former teammates. SKL Fred. You lived a remarkable life!

Fred will never be forgotten...May your family be comforted and have peace.
