Fred was a unique person and I,m very pleased I got to know him. Fred, in his own way, taught me a lot, from sailing, dealing with people, and to life itself. I will miss him.

Cathy and Fiona, Katie and I are saddened to hear of the loss of such a wonderful treasure of a man. I am forever grateful he had the opportunity through your herculean efforts to help us send "Teddius" to his final resting place, and I can hear them bellowing their infamous greeting to eachother now and for eternity. He was such a huge part of our lives growing up, I know I speak for all the Ted Fowlers when I say we miss him and share your sorrow.

My Great-Uncle Fred was one of the most amazing men I have ever known. I will remember him for his vast knowledge, his Christmas stocking and Santa beard, his hugs, his braid, his laugh, and most of all his wonderful sense of humor. The last time I saw him was when my sister and I visited him at dinnertime one night. As we were sitting at the table with him, he took out his handkerchief and right before blowing his nose he said, “HONK!” He made me laugh every time I was around him. I love...
