What a great friend and doctor

FRED WAS A MEMBER OF MY GRADUATING CLASS AT LANPHIER HIGH SCHOOL. IT IS SO ODD THAT I CAME ACROSS THIS OBIT AS I JUST MOVED BACK TO SPRINGFIELD AND ATTENDED A BLOCK PARTY. A NEIGHBOR CAME BY JUST ON WEDNESDAY AND PICKED UP MY MONEY FOR THE OCCASSION, I HEARD HIS LAST NAME TO BE CYCHOLL AND ASKED, DO YOU KNOW A FRED CYCHOLL, AND HE SAID YES, HE IS RELATED TO MY DAD, I SAID, ODD COINCIDENCE, I WENT TO HIGH SCHOOL WITH HIM, NOT KNOWING ANYTHING ABOUT HIS DEATH OR PROFESSION. HE WAS A...

Fred always had a smile. When he would come to visit Garin in Chicago and come to our Sunday morning service, he remembered each of us by name. While we did not know him as well as many of you, we always enjoyed his company and his fellowship.
Our heartfelt sympathy goes out to his family, God Bless

I have known Fred for over twenty years, having spoke to him over the phone and via written correspondence. Yet,I only met him face to face on one occasion. The incident in which I met Fred was in the lobby of Memorial Medical Center. Having talked to him many, many times over the phone about patients, I easily recognized his voice. As I was exiting the hospital through the main lobby I heard his voice as he was talking to aonther gentleman. I immediately recognized the voice of my old friend...

Jan,Garin,Michaela,Trenton,Brandon and Families,

Our deepest and most heartfelt sympathies to you all.

I was shocked to see Fred's obituary in today's paper. I remember Fred as being a very studious person. I graduated with Fred in 1960. To Fred's family, you all will be my family's prayers.

My heartfelt sympathies to all family loved by Fred, and those friends, that were closely associated with him.

Attending high school(LHS) with Fred was very enjoyable for me, as he was sensitive, supportive and intelligent, even in those teenage days of long ago.

The smile on Fred's face in the newspaper tells it all. Throughout the late '50's, our LHS Class of '60 laughed our way through the many trials that plague high school students. Fred managed to find humor in most...

Our heartfelt condolences to Janet and her family. Fred led an exemplary life. His gifts to others will be a lasting legacy. His dedication to his community and profession, his commitment to his faith and his family, and his warm and enduring friendships, all reflect a life well lived. He will be greatly missed.
