Not sure what to say?

We will miss Fred very much. We grew to know him through his wife, and our dear friend, Lucy. They both touched John and I in a special way.

God bless his family at the sad time.

Michele Galvin (Syracuse, New York)

I waited on my dear Freddy for a few years at Ponderosa and always was looking for me. "Where's my girl", he would say. I listened to his stories about him in the war and how much he loved his wife. Freddy, I will always miss you and by far my favorite person I ever waited on. May God bless you and your family. Sara Covich (syracuse, ny)

If we let our thoughts wander, they naturally turn to subjects that bring special pleasure, to warm hearted words, to generous deeds, and to kindnesses we’ll always treasure. Uncle Feddy was all of the above. He has touched so many lives (especially mine). Anyone who crossed paths with Uncle Freddy were fortunate and blessed with his love, warmth, and kindness.

His captivating stories were the greatest teachings of all. You became a better person once you have met Freddy. He...

Our memories of Fred will be with us always.
We will miss him.

Linda and Richard Seidner

A true gentleman in every sense of the word - a generous and sweet man, ready with a smile.

I will fondly remember the Sunday dinners at my parent's house where my Mother made sure to have 'macaroni' because Fred was coming over.

He was loved and will be missed.

The world has lost a wonderful man. May you rest in peace, Freddy.

I will always remember the times we had (good and not so good) trying to get that book typed! I don't think you realized how much I didn't like history but you made me appreciate it a whole lot more with your experiences and dedication. You truly had many stories to tell! You are a true American Hero and I will miss you.

Although we have been so many miles apart for so long a time, My Dear Uncle Fred is a wonderful part of my childhood memories. I will miss him as I do my Aunt Lucy. Their kindness and love will remain with me. I will keep him in my prayers and my heart forever...

I had fond memories of working with Fred as a carpenter's assistant during my summer breaks in college. He was a great man. We had great times.

My sincere condolences to his family and friends,

Jacob Seidner (a.k.a. Jack)

Fred has left an indelible legacy. A true gentlemen, kind and considerate, always dignified. He knew the difference between right and wrong and captured our minds with captivating stories that he made vivid by sharing his experiences and details only the way he could.

Fred was soft spoken, compassionate and loved to tell a joke. His humour among his many great qualities.

Fred rest in peace. You will be missed but never forgotten.

Love Massimo, Michael,...
