Fred M. Dunnell was born June 2, 1932 in Minot, ND to Myron Goulden Dunnell and Frances Selvina Fredrickson.  He was the oldest of 5 children. His siblings still love him dearly. Fred passed from this life on October 22, 2016 surrounded by his loving family.

Dear Betty Jo and family: We are saddened by the loss of Fred. He was such a good man and he will be missed by everyone. His humor kept you laughing and I am sure he is the same on the other side. Our prayers and thoughts will be with you and your family. We would have been there to support you but we are here on a mission serving the Lord. Dear Betty Jo, Ever since you moved out of our ward I have wondered how to get in touch. I should have tried harder. But I want you to know that I miss you because you both brought so many positive aspects to our ward. Please accept my condolences as well. Fred was one of my favorite people. He was so intelligent, individualistic, talented and kind. I love that he was in my CCMA concert in 2014 and he was wonderful. Betty Jo, I am so sorry for your loss. Fred was an incredible man, you have an incredible family . We will all miss him dearly. I have always loved seeing and feeling the love you two have for each other and all around you. I love you so much , I am so sorry that I can't make it to the funeral , but know that my thoughts and prayers are with you and the family .

Fred was one of a kind. He will be missed by all he came in contact with. It was impossible not to smile when you encountered Fred. I had the pleasure of working around him in his later years and his infectious positive attitude would always brighten the room. Enjoy that nice, new bicycle in the sky.
