To the Edera Family: I was a good friend of Fred's in Great Neck, NY before his family moved to Brussels. I remember he got straight A's in our first term at Great Neck South Jr. H.S. His father drove us to Staten Island to visit his grandparents. We had home made ravioli. Great memories of Fred. So sorry for your loss.

Dear Peg, Thinking of you during this immensely challenging time. Lots of turmoil and change and sorrow and delight and laughter and heartbreak. Fred was and likely remains a light for many, many people. Loving you.

Needless to say, we were all pulling for Clay. I ran into Fred only once after he graduated, in San Francisco circa 1970, but he was one of the...

Dear Peg and Mia and the Edera Family,
I am deeply saddened by the loss of Fred. I very much enjoyed his company over the years, the conversations had and at times the spirited political talks (especially when Gene got in the game). Most fondly was the time we spent in Great Neck. I send you peace and may the Lord's blessing be on all of you at this time of sorrow. Fred will be missed on many, many levels. God Bless
