Sorry for your loss. Many Blessings to the Family. First met Fred in 1994 at Sam Houston Race Park's opening as one the TV production crew. I came over from the Fairgrounds with 1st announcer Rick Mocklin. And I'm still there. Rick and Fred were our first host/co-host of the pre-race show, so being on the set everyday together was a hoot, we were instant friends. Born the same year, same age, same Educational background. In the past year we always saw Fred and his best friend Dana of 30 years together. They shared their love of sports, poker,karaoke and music. The dynamic duo grew even closer when Fred became ill. It was fitting that his bff found him on his final day. Rest in peace Fred and know that Dana still loves you and Kira.
