Today I'm remembering a kindness extended by Mrs. Grace Helen White Franks on June 17, 2008. I received the '63 Chieftain in memory of your husband and my fellow Army Veteran, Coach Fred L. Franks. Thank you ma'am!

So sorry to hear of your loss. Coach Franks was my basketball coach at Henderson High School from 1980 - 1985. I have such fond memories of him. He had quite an impact on my life. One of my fond remembrances of him is that he was the first person to teach me the Lord's prayer. He also made the best chocolate chip cookies, and shared them with each of us on our birthdays. My condolences to you Grace, and Bart.

Coach Franks taught me to type at Cross Keys. He was also my PE coach and one I have never forgotten.
God Bless.

Grace and Bart, We are so sorry to hear of Fred's passing. He was such a great person and a dear friend. Please know you are in our thoughts and prayers.

Fred Franks was my basketball coach and my typing instructor at Cross Keys High School. After he retired, we were in the real estate business together for many years. He will be missed by all who knew him.

Coach Franks was my basketball coach, my algebra teacher and my typing/business teacher at Cross Keys High School 1958-1962. He was a mentor and one of the best teachers I have ever known, whether on the basketball court or in the classroom. He was a blessing to my life and I thank God for him.
May God comfort and bless all of his family and loved ones. Thank you.

We are saddened to hear the news of Coach Franks passing. You are in our thoughts and prayers. May God bless you.

Extremely sorry to hear about Fred. You know how much he influenced my life. I can only hope that I may have that kind of influence on others that I have come into contact with. Because of our Britts, I think of you often, even if I am bad about not keeping in touch.

I am saddened to hear of your loss. May all of your fond memories help to get you through this difficult time. May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.

My sincere condolences,

Kimberly Woodard Solodkii and family
