I wanted to let you know that you are all in my thoughts and prayers. I was truly blessed to get to know your husband/dad. He talked of all of you and how much he loved Carol and your family.

Mrs. Glarner, Mike, Lisa, Claire and Nicholas:

We were so surprised and saddened to learn of Fred's passing. What a wonderful friend, father and grandfather he was. We feel blessed to have gotten to know him (even if only briefly) in his visits on Lawn Ave. He left you way too soon, but his incredible cheer and grace will never be forgotten. God bless you all.

Bill, Mary, Erin and Brian Burton

I am so sorry, I just heard about Freds sudden death. He was always a joy to be around and I had more fun with Mary babysitting Tom and Susie when you lived on Northmoor, Keeping you in my thoughts and prayers, Take care

Dear Carol,
Please accept my deepest sympathy at the sudden loss of Fred (or Freddie) as I affectionatly remember him. We had great times together at Our Lady of Lourdes and I will be forever grateful for the influence that he and his father had on me as we worked toward the rank of Eagle in the Boy Scouts. Wow, Northmoor Dr. and OLOL had lots of Glarner moments. May he enjoy his eternal reward!

Dear Carol, Jack, Virginia & Mary (Fred's sister), I just heard about Fred's unexpected passing. It is indeed a shock and very sad news. You have my most heartfelt sympathies. Fred was tons of fun, passionate about life and all he was involved in, and a delightful political activist (at least on condo boards!). He will be missed by many. I will always remember with great fondness the summer we all met at the Manors of Broadmoor Pool. What a delightful group of "pool people" we had that...

Dear Carol and all family, I am so grateful that I was able to sit next to you, Carol, and share those fun stories with Fred of when Mimi and I went to Florida with you in the 1960's ... last September in Michigan at Emily and Dan's wedding! Fred was always a gentleman, man of faith, devoted son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, uncle, cousin, and friend. My heartfelt prayers are with you and I believe Lily and Fred were there to greet Fred and lift him higher and...

to the Glarner family...
you are in my thoughts & prayers, my heart goes out to you

Hi Carol,
We are just stunned by Fred's sudden death. I cannot imagine what you are going through. He will be sorely missed at Countryside. Marcie Foster
