I am a distant relative ( kind of) of your crazy and wonderful family. I married Richard Hagy, the son of Charles and Thelma Hagy. Thelma was Odessa´s sister and therefore Fred´s sister-in-law. Fred was a special man, as everyone knows. When I met my husband, Richard Hagy, and was introduced to Fred, I felt like I had known him all my life. He had a phenomenal personality and could make anyone laugh - especially my mother-in-law, Thelma. She along with the rest of the family LOVED Fred. His jokes were not always funny - but with Fred telling them, they were funny! Anybody remember - dippy, dippy, dippy in the new blue cheer...................... I won't say the rest of it. ...

We will miss seeing Fred walking on Coxswain Way and his always friendly demeanor. Deep sympathy to Ellie and all of Fred’s family. May he Rest In Peace. Maria & Jack Mark

I met Mr Greene the first day I was on the Racing Commission.
He set the standard for honesty and integrity for me from that day forward.
He was a true gentleman.

You will be truly missed Uncle Fred. I will always remember how gracious and funny you were. You are my true southern gentleman. Chuck and I were so blessed to have spent time with you and Debbie.
