Fred was a special man, as everyone knows. When I met my husband, Richard Hagy, and was introduced to Fred, I felt like I had known him all my life. He had a phenomenal personality and could make anyone laugh - especially my mother-in-law, Thelma. She along with the rest of the family LOVED Fred. His jokes were not always funny - but with Fred telling them, they were funny! Anybody remember - dippy, dippy, dippy in the new blue cheer...................... I won't say the rest of it. ...

I met Mr Greene the first day I was on the Racing Commission.
He set the standard for honesty and integrity for me from that day forward.
He was a true gentleman.
