We lived next-door to Fred and Jeanne on 46th Street, moving away in 1996.

We were always impressed by Fred's cheer and energy. And his tomatoes!

He dug a basement below his 1920's era house, inspiring the then-current owner of our house to do the same.

We are sorry to hear of his passing, but will carry his memory always.
