This is very sad to hear I want to offer my condolences to everyone. He was a wonderful person and my time knowing him I have very special memories of him. Sorry that this is coming down late as I just saw this I don´t see the news paper or read the Staten Island live as much as I should.

To Claire and the entire Haspel Family: Elaine and I are saddened to hear of Freds passing - such a true gentleman in every sense of the word. He was such a positive influence on me as well as many of my friends and family. Our childhood at St. Christopher´s was marked by his dedication and support for the community. Rest in peace.
