I didn't know Fred that well, but used to see him at the gym and we would always talk about USC football. Actually Bob and I did get to experience one of his famous dinners that he insisted on making for us as thanks for some football tickets. I guess at the time, I didn't realize we were becoming part of a special "club" that got to experience his unique culinary skills and hospitality. He was delightful and I regret I didn't get to know him better. May he rest in peace.
