I was sitting here at work and got to thinking we hadn't seen any of Mr Izenson's cartoons this election cycle - we always looked so forward to his work as we are all of a similar mindset here. his illlustrations were so funny - and accurate! :) I did a quick google search of his name and his obituary was the first thing to pop up. Everyone here at the House of 10,000 Picture Frames in Kettering, OH was so bummed to hear this news - we had been framing and mounting his work for many, many...

Freddie has been a dear friend since 1955. My wife and I were at his wedding and he and Eva visited us in Denver. I knew his parents and Freddie knew mine. I will never forget the good times we had together. Bill Fishman

It has taken far too long for me to say something about Freddie. But certain things take time. The las time i emailed Freddie I told him that we would always love each other. That was true. We met in early 1955 at the U of Miami. We were two guys out of place. We were both transfers. He from Michigan and I from Wisconsin. We were probably two of the very few guys who were not - or not trying to be- full time degenerates. The really rich guys went to Cuba for weekends (it was before Castro)....
