Not sure what to say?

Still remembering Fred fondly. A giant in intercollegiate athletics whose impact is still being felt today and will be for years to come.

Fred Jacoby was a most honorable man in a profession where ethics and honor and trust are key. He was true to his values and he will be missed. Prayers and thoughts are with his family...

Dear Marcia, Tom. Bob. and Steve,
Our family has wonderful memories of Fred and your entire family. We were so very sorry to hear of his passing. May you find comfort in knowing that he is with the Lord and that someday you will see him again.

I fondly remember Fred Jacoby as one of my first football coaches at Bremen High School and his early instruction and encouragement in how to play the game. I will miss this gentle and nice man and I give my regards to his family.

Class of 1950

A life has come to an end, but a true legacy like that of Fred Jacoby's will live on. There aren't many men in the world like Mr. Jacoby. His contributions to the world as a coach, administrator and role model will be difficult to match. May you be living without pain and in complete comfort under His great and healing care.

Fred Jacoby was one of the most decent men any of us couold hope to meet. In a world of cut-throat competition, Fred taught everyone how to conduct yourself with dignity and gentility. We are better for having had him touch our lives. My deepest sympathies to his family.

On behalf of a grateful LeTourneau University, I pray that Fred will find eternal peace. He was a champion of athletics and a champion of life itself. The American Southwest Conference was privileged to call him Commissioner and I was privileged to have had the opportunity to work with him.

Fred Jacoby - a giant of a man with a Heart of Gold that just played on him all too soon. He was a leader in the sports world and a devoted Family man, as well as personal friend. Fred will be missed!
Sincere condolences to the Family.

Very sorry to hear of the coaches passing. He was very muched thought of by his first Students and Athletes from Bremen High. We have a lot of good memories of him and all of our prayers are with him.
