Age 91 of Birmingham died April 12, 2019. Family will receive friends at Roberts Chapel Friday 5-6:30pm. Funeral service Saturday 12:00 at 1st Baptist Church Pratt City, burial in Carver Cemetery with Military Honors. Roberts Central Park Chapel, directing.

Rev. Fred Jemison, Sr. was not a pillar in just the Hooper City-Sayreton community, but the entire metro Birmingham area. A great loss has been sustained, and we share the loss with the family. Our church share the loss of Pastor Ball's adopted father, and our prayers are with the Pilgrim Home Church family as well. May His peace be with you until we meet again!

Many years ago my mother and father were friends with the young Fred Jemison. I recognized the name immediately. He has lived a long and fruitful life. My parents were Robert and Ada Jones over Oxmoor way. I believe he worked at ACIPCO.
