Dear Kirby Family
I am so saddened to hear of the loss of the patriach of the family. I adored Mr. Kirby and had the pleasure of working for him and Mrs. Kirby for one year. He was a wonderful generous man. I treasure the time that I spent with him and Mrs. Kirby, especially at Jerseyfield. He was truly an inspiration to me. I will miss him so much.

My best wishes in particular to Mrs. Kirby and to Alice who was a year ahead of me at Peck and to Fred who I believe was 2 years behind me at Peck.
