I see Jesus standing at the Father's right hand, I see Jesus yonder in the promised land, work is over, now I'm coming to Thee, I see Jesus, standing, waiting for me . . . So deeply grateful to Almighty God for Fred's exemplary life. Since my childhood Crusaders music has been, and, will now more lovingly than ever continue to be, one of the most important touch-stones of my life. May God bless and give great peace to the entire Linkous family. A. Joseph Beck

I have always known Fred Linkous only as Uncle Fred. I have so many loving and fond memories of Uncle Fred and Aunt Nancy. The entire family was a huge part of my childhood and I cherish every moment that I ever had with them. My thoughts and prayers go out to you Aunt Nancy and the entire family during this difficult time. May God give you peace and comfort.

When I was younger Mr. Fred Linkous and his family were close with ours. The memories of Mr. Linkous at North Hartford Baptist, at his Farm, at our home will never be forgotten. I recall how he would come over on a Thursday night and practice signing with my Father and others for an upcoming concert at a Country Church in the area. These practice nights would go long past my bedtime. I would always love hearing Fred hit those very high notes... there's a golden street to walk upon, a bell...

Fred is the father of my life-long friend Mike. He also was member of gospel group The Crusaders with my father when I was growing up. He had fantastic tenor voice and a hearty laugh and great smile. Our families spent a lot of time together. I still treasure those memories and send our deepest condolences and sympathies to Nancy and everyone in the family. He is singing again in Heaven. Love & prayers.
