Although I am of no blood relation to Papa, he meant a lot to me. At a young age I can remember him teaching me how to play the fiddle. I remember him teaching me about guns. I remember going out back and gathering eggs from the chickens and picking green beans. My My My I could write so many things about Papa Fred. You were a friend, a neighbor, my Papa. I will miss you but I know you are in heaven playing that banjo and having a blast and how you must be so happy back with nanny.

Uncle Fred has always had a special place in my heart, and always will. I'm sorry I couldn't get down there, but I love and miss you all.... I know we'll see him again one day! Our deepest condolences to Uncle Fred's family,from Emma,Wink,Tyler,& Micah Branch. We are so glad that we were able to spend a joyful time with him on our recent trip to Nanny's.
