Not sure what to say?

I SPENT TIMES AS A CHILD AT THE MEISSINGER HOME IN FLINT MICHIGAN. FRED & BETTY'S FATHER WORKED AT TAYSTEE BREAD WITH MY DAD CHARLIE MCMAHAN AND I ALSO WORKED WITH FREDS FATHER AT THE bAKERY

Fred was like an older brother to me. He took me under his wing at Metal Fab. and we developed a close relationship. The world was a better place having a friend like him.
Vaughn Fickies

Please accept our condolences, Fred, his sister Betty, and my sister, myself, and brother grew up together, our parents, Charles and Gurneth McMahan were very dear friends, and the two families would go up north dear hunting at Roscommon for many of our young years. MY Father is still living, just celebrated his 100th birthday, he gives you his condolences also. Norm, Shirley Smith (McMahan)

I was shocked to hear of Fred's passing today, and I wish to extend my condolences to Sally and members of Freds family. I communicated with Fred over the Christmas holidays and I feel fortunate to have had that contact with him. I worked for Fred in General Motors in the 1980's and I always felt a special freindship for him since that time. He will be missed but has gone on to a better place now.

Know that our prayers are with you and your family. May God Bless you with his unexplainable peace.

So sorry to see of Fred's death in the paper today. I worked with Fred at Flint Metal Fabricating. In fact he interviewed and hired me (that was many many years ago!!!). Fred was alway fun to work with and for. My sympathy to you.

Am grateful I saw you and Fred at our last reunion. We all shared memories of our years knowing each other. There is not much one can say other than we also mourn your loss. Fred was always a gentleman and will be missed by all who knew him.
