I was just remembering the minimester 69 trip to Washington DC and NYC. It was great you were there! Every time I visit Stetson I think of you, Coach and your families. It was a special time.

My deepest sympathy to all the wonderful members of the Messersmith family. Your family has been significant in my life, and I mourn the loss of Mr. Messersmith with you. I'm grateful to have had the chance to see you all Christmas. My love to all.

What a loss. I loved to watch how deft an artist he was. His lessons were magic. My deepest heart felt sympathy to Jeff and his family.

One of my favorite teachers. In many ways Mr. Messersmith was the contradiction of the stereotypical art teacher. He was tough, but fair. I didn't always like what he told me, but I learned more than I would have any other way.
