One of my fondest memories of Pop is. When he would come home after work he always had a piece of candy in his front pocket just for me. When I would run to give him a hug and he picked me up and would point to his shirt pocket. It always made me feel like I was #1 to him. I will miss him so much and I hope that I can be half the man he was.

Fred was one of the nicest giants I have known. I would stay with him and Alida in Helena and he would tell me stories of his kids and Alida, he was so funny! I loved the look in his eyes when he would poke fun at Alida and I know he is doing just that right now. They are happy together again. Miss you Fred.

My sincere condolences at your loss. Went to high school with Fred and was a fellow recruiter in Billings while he was in Great Falls. Had many a good time with him at recruiter conferences.
