Not sure what to say?

Wrote and sang the absolute best doo wop song of all time, and one of the best tunes ever produced in the USA. Fist heard it in 56 and still turn up the radio each and every time I hear it today.

What a beautiful singer. One of my favorites

Heavenly Rest and Love

His music still survives on PBS, my home, and my heart. "In the Still of the Night " will always be one of my favorite songs since my childhood. RIP Mr. Parris.

Godspeed Fred, and thank you for the wonderful music memories with "The Five Satins", and one of the anthems of my youth, and beyond, "In the Still of the Night". Unforgettable.

Fred was the greatest, In the Still of the Night still brings tears to my eyes whenever it plays. The best Rock and Roll song of all times. At age 82 I will never forget the song.

My condolences to Fred's wife and family. I sold Fred a tape deck way back in about 1994 when nobody beats the Wiz was in Milford at the mall. In the Still of the Night is one of my favorite songs. Rest in peace Fred.
